Intensive Driving CoursesIntensive driving courses, sometimes known as 'crash courses', are simply lots of driving lessons taken over a short period of time.
'Regular' driving lessons can range from 1 hour to 4 or 5 hours per week, whereas an intensive driving course is more likely to be between 6 and 20 hours training during a week. Often, but not always, a driving test will immediately follow the crash course, so that everything is still 'fresh'.
Intensive driving courses are not suited to all people as many hours of concentration can become very tiring. It is, however the best option for some people who have very little free time for regular lessons and therefore the only time they can squeeze in training is a 'crash driving course' during holidays from school or work.
Most driving schools will offer some form of intensive driving courses and should be able to advise you whether you may be suited to learn to drive in this way - often following an assessment.
