Finding the Best L Driving Lessons!

Book Good Driving Lessons

Whether you are a complete beginner on a provisional driving licence - never having driven before or are approaching 'driving test standard', you can't go wrong with booking some good quality driving lessons from a suitably qualified driving instructor.

Book Driving Lessons With A Qualified Instructor

Use our 'quote requester' on the right to help you get the best quotes from the most suitable trainer for your driving lessons.

A good driving instructor, as opposed to learning to drive with a mum or dad, should know the required standard to pass your driving test as well as being able to communicate this in a clear way during your lessons.

Almost anyone else who would help you to learn to drive may either not be aware of the DSA's (Driving Standards Agency) required standard, or may not have the experience/skills to 'impart' it.

How Many Driving Lessons?

How many driving lessons you will need to book to pass your driving test varies from person to person - some will only need a few driving lessons to 'brush up' on something like maneuvers for example or to eradicate some 'bad driving habits'. Others will require many more lessons to bring their driving skills up to a safe, confident standard.

On average people will require somewhere between 40 and 50 hours of good quality driving lessons along with some private practice in [a suitably insured] family car. If there is no available car to practice in (as is very often the case) then this will be likely to slightly increase the overall number of driving lessons.
